Longines 12.91 centre second watch , need some help
Oct 26, 2024 · I need a little help with this 12.91 centre second Longines I'm trying to get going. As you may be able to see the wheel over the 3rd that drives the centre second pinion is missing. I have been lent some wheels that are so close but not close enough. A wheel with 8.9mm nearly touches so I'm estimating that the wheel is 9mm to 9.1 with 75 teeth.

For many years railroad watches approved for use in the U.S.A. and Canada, as well as in Mexico and some other places had to be made to much higher standards, such as the Elgin ...

Chronometry: - Longines Deck Watch - NAWCC Forums
Nov 16, 2012 · The information Longines furnish in their E-mail, particularly a page for the cal. 21.60 from an early Longines parts catalog pretty irrefutably indicates that the cal. 21.60 was open-face (Lepine). I wonder how Longines would reconcile that with the fact that it goes contrary to the pattern of open-face calibre numbers ending in odd numbers!
