The timeskip of four months after the coup d'état/elevator incident did not help establishing her and Lyle's relationship, while he clearly gets attracted to her before that timeship, she seems not, this feels out of nowhere on her side. Overall, Anew came into the plot and is gone as quickly.

Sep 27, 2023 · Dig up Soma's old helmet and stick it on Anew's head. The quantum brainwave blocking effects should prevent the worst of the issues. Once Ribbons is dead she can take it off. Simple and effective. It'll make Lyle's love life a bit inconvenient for a while, but maybe they could tweak the helmet to at least not need the glass faceplate.
