FORT MYERS, Fla. − An underdog for the first time this season, No. 22 Xavier couldn't build off its comeback win over South Carolina, falling to Michigan, 78-53, Wednesday night in the Fort Myers Tip-Off for its first loss of the season.

Danny Wolf and Vlad Goldin both had their best nights in a Michigan uniform, and the Wolverines rolled past Xavier, 78-53, to win the Fort Meyers Tip-Off event. Wolf hit three first-half three pointers and finished with a season-high 20 points.
