Michigan State Police encounter alligator during drug bust
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Michigan State Police say they found a surprise guest during a drug bust this week: an alligator. The agency’s Metro Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Tuesday at a home in Detroit’s Downriver region. They expected to find drugs, but not the reptile. It was turned over to a local animal shelter.

(CNN) – Officials in Michigan uncovered something unusual during the raid of a home on Tuesday. The Michigan State Police seized a number of things from a cache of illegal items, including guns and drugs. The weirdest thing they found was an alligator.
