S hares of HFCL gained over 5% intra day on Monday amid high volatility in the broader market. HFCL stock rose 5.52% intraday to Rs 133.80 against the previous close of Rs 126.80

HFCL share price surged 5.5 per cent at Rs 132.30 per share on the BSE in Wednesday’s intraday deals. This came after HFCL along with its consortium partners emerged as the lowest bidders with multiple bids exceeding more than Rs 8,100 Crores for BharatNet Phase III Project.

HFCL shares have gained 53 percent on a year-to-date basis, outperforming the Nifty 50 by a huge margin which gained 12 percent during the same period.

Telecom tech company HFCL and a consortium of partners have emerged as the lowest bidders in partnership with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) and Aerial Telecom Solutions for major contracts under the BharatNet Phase III project,

Furthermore, a 10-year O&M contract of Rs 4,155 crores would be granted to the consortium at an annual rate of 5.5% of the capital expenditures for the first five years and 6.5% for the next five.

HFCL-led consortium secures ₹8,100 crore BharatNet Phase III contracts, expanding rural internet connectivity with diverse product portfolio.

HFCL, along with its consortium partners, has secured a Rs 13,000 crore contract for BharatNet Phase 3 in UP East, UP West, and Punjab, bringing high-speed internet connectivity to rural India.

HFCL and its partners won bids totaling Rs 13,000 crore to build optical fiber broadband networks in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab under BharatNet Phase III. HFCL secured projects in UP East and West through a consortium and independently won the Punjab circle bid.
