History was made in the City of Fresno Friday as Mindy Casto was sworn in to lead the Fresno Police Department. It made her the 24th chief in the city’s history and the first ever woman to be Fresno’s top cop.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Mindy Casto is set to be sworn in as the new Fresno Police Chief on Friday. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the Saroyan Theatre in Downtown Fresno at 11 am.
