Dallas Weather: Roads become treacherous as Freezing Fog Advisory in effect
Areas with snow cover will be most prone to fog formation. With the freezing fog, black ice is likely to form on the roads. Visibility will be below 3 miles. The advisory is in effect until Saturday at 9 a.m. when temperatures will begin creeping back up.
The city of Dallas will continue operating temporary inclement weather shelters this weekend, a news release said.
"We’re doing everything we can but you’re gonna have to slow it down a little bit. We really need drivers to meet us halfway," said Michael Rey of NTTA.
