Unofficial results show Michelle Watkins has upset incumbent Devyn Keith in the Huntsville City Council District 1 runoff. The runoff comes after no winner was declared

North Huntsville voters ushered out an incumbent Tuesday in the city’s municipal runoff election for council and board of education seats in District 1.

Ider Police Department officials are asking the public to avoid Hwy. 75 and the intersection of Dogwood Dr. due to a fatal wreck.

The polls are closed and results will be rolling in here as votes are counted in Huntsville’s District 1. A city council seat and a spot on the city school board were up for grabs in Tuesday’s runoff elections.
