Former St. Louis Cardinals manager Mike Matheny spent 20 days in an intensive care unit, where he was diagnosed with a subarachnoid hemorrhage, a serious and potentially life-threatening condition that involves bleeding in the brain.

"We must honor their sacrifice by fortifying our commitment to safety and excellence as new generations of space explorers, follow their footsteps."

It honors astronauts who died pursuing space exploration and discovery – specifically the crews of Apollo One and the space shuttles Challenger and Columbia.
