Malayalam Actor Siddique on Wednesday moved Supreme Court seeking anticipatory bail in actress sexual assault case after denied relief by Kerala High Court on Tuesday.

Asianet News has obtained a copy of Siddique's 154-page anticipatory bail plea filed in the Supreme Court in connection with the ongoing rape case. The plea alleges discrepancies in the complainant's testimony and questions the credibility of the complaint.

The Kerala HC had dismissed Siddique’s petition on Tuesday, noting that the evidence prima facie suggested his involvement in the case.
