Danish Malewar has scored his second century of his debut Ranji Trophy season, as Vidarbha finished Day 1 at 254/4. Karun Nair also scored a brilliant 86 but his innings was cut short after an unfortunate run out.

Danish Malewar’s superbly constructed innings (138 not out) not merely helped Vidarbha tide over a bumpy start, but take the opening day’s honours against Kerala in the Ranji Trophy final in Nagpur.

Vidarbha ended Day 1 with a score worth 254/4 in 86 overs against Kerala in the final of the 2024/25 Ranji Trophy being held at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur. Vidarbha were off to a poor start, losing three early scalps.
