The chances of a potential tropical disturbance forming have again increased, and the system is likely to bring heavy rains to Florida over the Fourth of July weekend, according to the FOX 35 Storm Team and the National Hurricane Center (NHC).

A disturbance is expected to stall late this week over Florida and currently has a low chance for tropical or subtropical development.

Barry broke up around 4 a.m. Monday about 100 miles northwest of Tampico, Mexico, near where the storm had made landfall about six hours earlier.
