Draymond Green has never been a player short of confidence, but it’s fair to say he caught everyone off guard when he claimed during All-Star Weekend that the Golden State Warriors would win the NBA championship this season.

“Draymond Green was on the microphone during the All-Star Game and he guaranteed that the Golden State Warriors would win the championship because they just got Jimmy Butler,” Perkins said. "We know what Steph [Curry is gonna do], we know what Jimmy [Butler] is gonna do. Draymond, you have to rise to the occasion."

Draymond Green had just spoken for a few minutes Saturday morning about the state of the game, about how he believes it’s officiated differently than it once was, how stars don’t get the benefit of being stars like they did in the past.
