Another SpaceX spacecraft failed its mission after an explosion within minutes of its launch on Thursday. Fiery debris was visible from Florida to the Caribbean. The mishap marked the second consecutive failure for the giant spacecraft this year, which is being developed for future crewed missions to both the moon and Mars.

Elon Musk's SpaceX is targeting March 6 at 5:30 p.m. CT for the next flight test attempt after it was delayed Monday.

SpaceX on Thursday afternoon launched its eighth suborbital flight test of its fully integrated Starship rocket, after a failed January test, at Starbase in Boca Chica Beach, Texas.

Starship could launch around 6:30 p.m. EST Monday from Starbase in South Texas, according to SpaceX, which will livestream the flight test.

SpaceX said it lost contact with its massive Starship rocket during its highly anticipated test launch on Thursday evening.

SpaceX has published a rare behind-the-scenes video of its Starlink dish factory in Bastrop, Texas, which is preparing to expand. According to the video, the factory is already producing 15,000 Starlink dishes per day — which amounts to nearly 5.

SpaceX on Monday will launch the eighth test flight of its biggest and most powerful rocket. The liftoff is scheduled to take place during a 60-minute window opening at about 5:30 p.m. CT in south Texas at SpaceX's Starbase site.
