Senate confirmation hearings for President-elect Donald Trump's Cabinet picks begin on Tuesday.

A U.S. Senate committee’s hearing on Republican Gov. Kristi Noem’s nomination to lead the Department of Homeland Security has been postponed. The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday. It’s now postponed to 9 a.

Noem was initially slated to appear 9 a.m. Wednesday before the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs in Washington.
