Footage has emerged of Daniel Ricciardo’s final team radio message to the Red Bull VCARB team at the end of his ‘last race’ at the Singapore Grand Prix. And the under-pressure Australian made no reference to the uncertainty surrounding his F1 future,

Ricciardo’s post-race demeanor indicated an imminent end to his F1 career. He savored his last moments in the cockpit and fought tears during interviews. Ricciardo was the last driver to leave the paddock, busy saying goodbye to everyone.

Daniel Ricciardo needed a miracle in Singapore, and he didn’t get one. He failed to make it out of Q1 and started the event in 16th place, while his teammate Tsunoda made it all the way to Q3 for an eighth-place start. And while Tsunoda did slip out of the points during the race, Ricciardo didn’t make progress.
