Peter Westbrook, Olympic fencing medalist whose foundation changed lives, dies at 72
Peter Westbrook, a fencer who competed at five Olympics, winning a bronze medal, and started a New York City fencing academy that produced many Olympians, has died at age 72. Westbrook died due to complications after a long cancer battle, according to the Peter Westbrook Foundation, the nonprofit fencing organization that Westbrook founded in 1991.
