The family of Michael O'Sullivan has been left "broken hearted" after the young jockey's tragic passing at just 24. As tributes poured in, mourners from across the community came together to pay their respects at his funeral which took place in Glantane, Co Cork on Wednesday.

Michael O'Sullivan, a 24-year-old Irish jockey, died Sunday after falling during a race earlier this month, the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board said.

O'Sullivan, who died from injuries sustained earlier this month, "made a lasting impression on everyone and won the hearts of the Irish people", mourners were told.
