The recall was initiated by the makers of Kirkland-brand butter last month, after it was determined that some of the packaging may be missing required language.

Nearly 80,000 pounds of Costco butter was recalled because its packaging was missing the "Contains Milk statement."

We live in a time when much ado is made over the price of butter, which makes it all the more egregious that Costco was just forced to recall a lot of the dairy product for what many have called a very silly reason.
