The Tamil University staff paid floral tributes to the late Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran, who was the founder of Tamil University, Thanjavur, on his 108 th birth anniversary on January 17.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi remebered M G Ramachandran and said his government is inspired by the former Tamil Nadu chief minister's efforts to empower the poor and build a better society.
