On Thursday at 3:18 p.m. a winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Saturday 7 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Passaic, Hudson, Bergen, Essex and Union counties.

A winter storm warning has been issued for four states amid a snow storm that could bring up to 34 inches of snow to some areas on Thursday and Friday. Freezing temperatures may pose health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups such as infants and older adults.

On Thursday at 4:35 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning valid from 4 p.m. until Friday 1 p.m. for Central Oregon.

On Thursday at 3:10 a.m. the NWS Eureka CA issued a winter storm warning valid from 10 a.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Southern Trinity.
