The Atlanta Braves placed right-hander Spencer Schwellenbach on the injured list on Wednesday because of a fractured right elbow. In a corresponding move, the Braves recalled lefty Austin Cox from Triple-A Gwinnett.

Schwellenbach injured the elbow in his last start. It isn't clear whether he will be able to return this season.
