ARLINGTON — Texas Rangers pitcher Nathan Eovaldi started his second game since being activated from the Injured List last week, throwing 72 pitches over five scoreless innings. “I felt strong towards the end,” Eovaldi said. “I made a few mechanical adjustments from the last outing to this one, and I feel like they helped out a lot.”

Marcus Semien and Corey Seager homered, Nathan Eovaldi pitched five strong innings in his second start since missing a month with an elbow issue and the Texas Rangers beat the Baltimore Orioles 6-0.

Pitching has not been among the Rangers’ primary issues through the first three months of the 2025 season. That doesn’t mean they didn’t feel the loss of somebody as important as Nathan Eovaldi, though.
