The explosion at the fireworks warehouse in Yolo County caused the cancelation of a number of 4th of July fireworks shows, including one in San Jose.

SAN JOSE – A major explosion at a pyrotechnics facility in Yolo County has forced the cancelation of a Fourth of July fireworks display at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose, but a celebration will still take place, according to an city official.

Seven people remain unaccounted for today, days after multiple explosions obliterated a giant fireworks warehouse in a rural area near Esparto in Yolo County.
