While there has been no confirmation of what characters may return or be present for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (aside from David), creatives at the Anime Expo panel reaffirmed that Night City would be centered around a new cast. It’ll be a perfect blank canvas to recontextualize the dark and sinister dystopian world in fresh, vivid colors.

Netflix teased a return to Night City last year and now we've got official confirmation it's a season 2 of Edgerunners with an all-new story.
