Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki volcano on the remote island of Flores in East Nusa Tenggara province spewed towering columns of hot ash high into the air since its initial huge eruption on Nov. 4, killed nine people and injured dozens of others.

Several international airlines have resumed flights to and from Indonesia's resort island of Bali, an official said on Thursday, after multiple eruptions of the Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano belched ash up to 10 km (16 miles) into the air.

Jetstar and Qantas will resume limited flying in and out of Bali today. Thousands of Australians have been left stranded after ash from a volcanic eruption grounded flights yesterday. Qantas Group says conditions have improved for today and it will be running nine recovery flights in and out of Denpasar.
