All eyes are on Gerry Hutch in Dublin Central following Independent candidate Malachy Steenson’s elimination on Saturday evening. Tallies suggest Hutch will receive over 1,000 transfers from Steenson. Independent Mattie McGrath has been elected in Tipperary South.
Dublin South Central General Election 2024 updates: No elections after five counts as count resumes this morning
The count has resumed for Dublin South Central at 10am this morning as no candidates were elected yesterday. Irish People's Jina Ahearne and independent Dolores Webster have dropped out of the race on counts four and five. After a long day, the count has now been adjourned to 9.15am tomorrow.
