Freezing rain and drizzle is one of winter's "sneaky" hazards, according to the weather service, forming a fine layer of ice on the road that can be hard to see but is dangerous. Drivers that can't avoid travel should slow down, turn off cruise control and leave enough distance between you and other drivers.

With a cold front situated to move in on Tuesday, meteorologists are predicting hazardous driving conditions throughout the day.

This week's cold weather could reach some of the coldest temperatures central Oklahoma has seen in over a century.
