In his way-too-early first-round 2026 NFL mock draft, Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy has the Denver Broncos selecting Georgia linebacker C.J. Allen with the 17th overall pick. (Don't get too offended -- Popejoy noted that the order of picks was "largely random.")

Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area previously reported that there was a belief that Greenlaw's injury was a torn quad, which would've cost him "a significant portion" of the upcoming campaign. Broncos fans will certainly be relieved that his injury isn't that serious. Greenlaw's deal with Denver is reportedly worth up to $31.5 million.

Denver Broncos inside linebacker Dre Greenlaw suffered a quadriceps strain but is expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 NFL season, a league source told The Athletic. Greenlaw was injured while working out and will spend several weeks rehabbing during the offseason and will not need surgery,
