Eagles place Britain Covey on IR, replace him with practice-squad veteran
The third-year receiver was replaced on the 53-man roster by veteran tight end Jack Stoll, who was signed off the practice squad. The Eagles also added veteran receiver John Ross to the practice squad. Covey will not be eligible to return until the Eagles’ Week 9 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
